We are career aviation educators who take the time to provide individual customized training to each student. We are not time-builders looking to simply build hours for the airlines. Our father-and-son instruction team brings nearly 40 years of combined flying experience and a genuine passion for teaching. You’ll train in a very nice, clean, well-maintained Cessna 172 with a nicely equipped instrument panel suitable for both VFR and IFR training.
One of the advantages we offer at Peterson Aviation is convenience of coming to you. While our home base is Cameron Park (O61), we are willing to fly to the airport closest to you. While there would be some fixed costs unique to each arrangement, this travel-to-you model saves you hours of commuting and lets you start flight training on your schedule. Whether you live or work near Sacramento Executive (KSAC), Mather (KMHR), Placerville (KPVF), Auburn (KAUN), Lincoln (KLHM), Rancho Murieta (KRIU), McClellan (KMCC), or other local fields, your instructor can meet you there.
